Human mononuclear cells, rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
Mononuclear cells are used for researching the causes, diagnosis, supportive care and treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Treatment for RA has typically been immunosuppression. However, immunotherapies have proven effective and cell therapy applications may provide more hope for RA patients. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is isolated from mononuclear cells collected from IRB-consented donors diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

  • Cryopreserved in CryoStor® CS10 media

No pre-screening is done on fresh products, but donors are tested on day of collection for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1/2.

Storage: Either prepare cells for long term storage in liquid nitrogen vapour phase or thaw for use. Storage in liquid phase nitrogen is NOT recommended. Short term storage of cells (less than 2 weeks) at –80 °C is acceptable, but should be minimised to ensure maximum stability. Once thawed, samples must be used immediately.

Bitte beachten Intended for research use only and not for direct therapeutic or diagnostic use in human or animals, or for further manufacturing of therapeutic products or devices. Storage in liquid phase nitrogen is NOT recommended.
