Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are neutral proteinases that are involved in the breakdown and remodeling of the extracellular matrix (ECM) under a variety of physiological and pathological conditions. MMP9 is a Metallopeptidase M10A type protease and is particularly important in the pathogenesis of inflammatory, infectious, and neoplastic diseases in many organs.
MMP9 antibody can be used in ELISA starting at 1:10000, and immunohistochemistry starting at 1:100 - 1:200.
