Integrins are a major class of cell adhesion molecules that mediate cell matrix interactions. They are composed of an alpha and a beta subunit. Beta 1 heterodimers are widely expressed and control various developmental processes, including neurogenesis, chondrogenesis, myoblast fusion, and skin and hair follicle morphogenesis.
Integrin beta 1 antibody can be used in ELISA starting at 1:10000, Western Blot starting at 1:500 - 1:2000, and immunohistochemistry starting at 1:200.
